DIY Strawberry Halloween Costume

Halloween is today & it is very crucial to have a costume even if you’re trick or treating, or even passing out candy to the little boys and girls! I have a costume that you will be able to whip up in 10 minutes max, but still look presentable for parties or just a night with your family!

A STRAWBERRY

Supplies

  1. A Red/ Pink Shirt
  2. White Paper
  3. Green Paper
  4. A Headband
  5. Hot glue
  6. Tape

I started off by making the strawberry shirt. I took a reddish pink shirt from Old Navy and started cutting rain drop shapes out of my white paper (this is for the seeds).

I made about 13 shapes and started taping them onto my shirt with regular scotch tape.

And that’s it for the shirt!

Now onto the headband!

I started off by cutting out large leaf shapes out of big sticky notes (I didn’t have green scrapbook paper) and I rolled one sheet of sticky note into a role.

I started to hot glue the leaves onto the role and the role onto the headband.
And ta-da you have a strawberry Halloween costume!

I hope you guys have a great halloween!

LUSH Haul & Reviews

I recently got three products from Lush that I have been dying to try out, so I’m going to show you what those items are & my reviews on them!

I got two bath bombs & a face mask.

Shoot for the Stars bath bomb.

I have not used this bath bomb yet, but I have seen beautiful pictures of the galaxy effect it gives to the water on Pinterest!

Don’t Look At Me face mask

This blue mask gave me a zingy sensation and made my face tense so I knew it was working! When I washed the mask off, my skin was so soft & very clear. I totally recommend this face mask to anyone!

Pink Bath Bomb  (I forgot to take a picture of the Pink Bath Bomb before I used it so I had to steal a pic from pinterest)

This bath bomb turned the water in my bath tub a pretty pink and little hearts were floating in my tub. It made the bathroom smell really nice & it really relaxed me!

Rainy Day OOTD

Lately, in Texas we have had tons of rain, so I’ve been going towards the outfits that keep me warm, yet are super cute!

I placed a Jcrew Factory vest over a white Lululemon long sleeve. I love this pairing because the long sleeve shirt adds a more sporty feel, but the vest is such a versatile piece, that it adds a more preppy vibe to it.

My shoes are the Nike Free Runs 5.0 and they are so comfy and bold. They match perfectly with the sporty feel. I just threw on a dark wash pair of skinny jeans from Abercrombie to match the dark pattern on the vest.

Have a great Saturday!

Kendra Scott, Jcrew Factory, and Lululemon Haul

When your grandma comes to town, you shop. It’s what you do. So today, I’m going to show you what I bought at Kendra Scott, Jcrew Factory, and Lululemon!

Kendra Scott

I am in love with this necklace,  because of how the gold & the rose gold just shimmers! It is a great find if you are looking for a new piece of jewelry.

Lululemon

I just purchased this super stretchy, soft, and comfy long sleeve shirt at Lululemon a couple of days ago, and I love it! I’ve paired it with some leggings & tennis shoes, and even a cute vest & some jeans!

These socks (similar) are the definition of comfy! They are so thin and super soft! They are no-show socks, so they won’t be peeking out of your shoes. I love both of them!

Jcrew Factory

This vest is my baby right now! It’s a super cute piece that I can not wait to get so much use out of!

Makes sure to tell me what you guys want to see in my future posts! Have a great day!

FullSizeRender

I have picked my top 5 favorites from the month of September to show you guys! Let’s begin…

My Camelbak

I bought the Camelbak Eddy at Target the other day and I love it!! I added a couple of stickers to the bottle to add a special touch! It has really motivated my to drink water & to stay hydrated!

Essie Nail Polish

6BD05AC9-EA71-421B-8A2E-059FBAB8E480-0

This polish isn’t a fall color, but it’s the prettiest pink color in my collection. It is called Guilty Pleasures 578. It is like a strawberry/watermelon color that looks great on any skin tone. I purchased this at Target, I would say, around two months ago.

Lokai Bracelets

These Lokai Bracelets are my everyday arm candy because they are so stylish, yet simple. They have a great meaning to them which makes me want to wear them more. I love these bracelets!

Vaseline Lip Therapy

Processed with VSCOcam with c1 preset

I have used the Vaseline Lip Therapy Advanced Formula for a long time and I apply it everyday before bed, because my lips get so chapped and they keep my lips smooth! This chap stick is a great long-lasting, moisturizing, and overall great product!

Saddle Boots

Processed with VSCOcam with a6 preset

These saddle boots have been my go-to shoe for this fall! They are so comfy and flexible, so they are a perfect for any outfit. They look good with a cable-knit sweater, flannels, or just a shirt for your school’s football team.

DIY Fall Decor

I have made my first fall DIY! I am hoping that I will be able to do more in the future! This DIY is so versatile because you can make a new one to match every season! So… Let’s get started!
 Supplies:

  1. Paint
  2. Paint Brushes
  3. Paper
  4. Pencil

The orange paint is from Hobby Lobby and it’s from the brand Craft Paint in the color 11012 Orange. The gold paint is from Target from the brand Hand Made Modern in the color Metallic 20K Gold.

Just a generic pencil will do and I used the smallest paint brush I had, but it depends on how large you want your monogram.

I began by free handing a pumpkin.
I drew a circle in the middle. That is where the monogram will go.  I free handed my monogram (DHM). Make sure you put your first name, last name, then middle name.

I took the orange paint and painted the monogram. Since, I went for a pumpkin look to make it more fallish, I chose orange, but you can choose any colors you want!   Then, I took the gold paint and went over the circle around the monogram.

When I was done with that, I took the orange paint again and went over the lines of the pumpkin.

Then you’re done!

Wait until it drys and soon you will have a really cute fall piece.

I placed mine on my door!

I hope you enjoyed this DIY!
