The three tips that I am about to share with you will eliminate your test/quiz stress!!
1) Plan Ahead
A huge tip would be to plan the days before the test/quiz when you want to study, so you feel ready to ACE your test! I know I’m not the only one who has procrastinated about the test, studied the night before, and frantically stressed the day of! Make sure that’s not you!
2) Ask Questions
Don’t be afraid to raise your hand and ask a question in class about what you’re struggling about! You can even pull your teacher to the side, in private! This will make you more confident for your test/quiz and your stress about that subject will be gone! Also, your teacher will walk you through the process and give you tips/tricks and short cuts to help you ace your test!
3) Study In A Group
Why study in your room by your self, when you can study with some friends!! When you study in a group, you can bounce ideas off of one another to create a project or an assignment! You can help each other get through those hard math problems and get the big ONE, ZERO, ZERO!
Remember how you prepare for your test in middle school will carry on into high school, so you need to make sure you develop great study skills before it really counts! Even if you are busy, you can make flash cards and I know there are apps that will quiz you, to get you ready for your assignment!

It’s that time of year again! Homework, get to know you papers, and new friends. In order to be successful in school, it’s very important to stay organized and know where all of your things are! That’s why I’m giving you some good organization tips today.
1) Label your folders. If you don’t know which folder is which, you won’t be able to find your homework and next thing you know, you have a 70 in the gradebook! I just got some scrapbook paper that you can find at Hobby Lobby or Michaels and cut a 2 1/2 in. x 1 in. rectangle that I taped in the top right corner of my folders.
2) Use a planner! A lot of people don’t like using planners, but they are VERY helpful! If you color code your notes, they will be so much easier to understand and read! With one glance, you can tell how much homework you have.
3) Always have extra supplies. You don’t want to get caught without a pencil or paper. I think we all know how bad that can turn out! So be prepared and have extra supplies with you just in case you need them!
We hope these tips gave you some great organizational ideas, and we hope you have a spectacular school year!

Going back to school shopping for supplies, for me, is an excuse to get the new planner I’ve been wanting, the awesome new gel pens, and to buy basically all of Target. We both have a big list of our school essentials that we could not live without!
A planner/agenda is our way to write down our homework for the day, notes that are super important, and it gets us super motivated to be more neat and organized. You can find them in Barnes and Noble, Dillard’s, Target, Walmart, Staples, and more! We have a Lilly Pulitzer Medium Agenda and a Kate Spade Agenda!
We both have a Jansport backpack for the upcoming school year, and let me advise you…Jansport backpacks are the best! You have a lot of pockets for all of your school essentials, and supplies! Backpacks also help you organize your supplies, and organizing is a must! A backpack is our biggest essential for back to school!
Everyone knows that you can’t go through school without pens and pencils! These are some school supplies that will jazz up your essays and homework! The mechanical pencils are from Paper Mate, the colored pens are from Paper Mate, and the black pens are from Pilot.
Folders and notebooks are necessities to our school essentials and to help us organize! You can get these items at Target, WalMart, Barnes & Noble, etc. From writing notes to storing essays, these supplies won’t let you down!
